Products used:
- EP Salmon concealer in light
- EP dual HD foundation in light (applied with sponge)
- EP dual HD Pressed powder in light (mixed of both shades) applied with puff
- EP Classic Palette with Bronzer, Blush, and Highlight
- EP loose setting powder with powder brush (yes, I double powdered! With a thin layer of the regular powder and a light hand with the loose setting powder, you can get a nice satin finish)
- Lips - EP Pearlicious Lipgloss in Climax
- Eyes: Kat Von D eye primer, plum smokes Maybelline quad, Stila Topaz liner on waterline, and Almay Dial-Up Mascara.
The pressed powder comes with two shades. I prefer to swirl my brush in both of them, but if you have one that is slightly too dark for you, try using it to contour.
Here's a close-up of the colors on the puff.
I am in love with the highlighter in this palette, but the bronzer, not so much. Too much shimmer for me, but if you like a lot of shimmer, this may be for you. I used a very light hand with the bronzer b/c it also shows up a bit darker on my light skin.
The palette is all very soft and they blend easily. Very pigmented. I just wish the highlighter was sold separately.
Soo pretty! You have lovely eyes :)
ReplyDeleteDo you find the foundation has full coverage? I have freckles and I like to cover them up once in a while. I am watching their vids now. Thanks Staci another thing for my wishlist LOL. Did you apply the concealer before or after the foundation? I am always curious as to how other people apply concealer. I have just had to start using it and find concealer a hard thing to master LOL
ReplyDeleteYour skin looks flawless!!
ReplyDeleteI really love your skin! And you've got such beautiful eyes!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments ladies!
ReplyDelete@Raina, the EP site claims the foundation is sheer-medium-full. While you can build it to full, I think it's more medium coverage for me to have it look natural. I think it comes off as full coverage in pictures though, so if it were an event where pictures are taken (or hey, even a night out!) it looks amazing. However, my favorite full coverage foundation for my every day work day is the Laura Mercier silk creme foundation. Love that product. A lot of people also seem to love Revlon colorstay as a drugstore brand, but you have to work faster with that foundation.
As for concealer, for both under-eye and blemishes I do mine before foundation. But I know what you mean, a lot of people have different styles of when they put it on, etc. Undereye concealer I may touch up if I have a long day and in that case it goes over my foundation, but for the most part, I do it right after I use my face primer :)
